The 2026 Parkerville Gala: There’s No Place Like Home is your golden ticket to a night of live entertainment, seriously good prizes worth clicking your heels for, and unexpected delights that’ll have everyone talking. It’s the kind of night that feels good and does good.

Because there really is no place like home, and your night out helps create that place over the rainbow where children feel safe and supported, and the dreams they dare to dream can finally come true.

Every child deserves to feel safe, to feel like they belong, and to believe in their own future, no matter what they’ve been through.

Some young people have missed out on school because of deeply disruptive experiences, like abuse, neglect, unsafe living situations, or constant upheaval. We’re working to change that.

Funds raised will help establish Parkerville Grove School, designed for young people who haven’t yet had the chance to learn in ways that work for them. A place where they’ll be understood, supported, and given every opportunity to catch up, keep up, and feel proud of how far they’ve come.

Home isn’t always a place. More often, it’s a feeling. And that’s what we’re creating together.

About Parkerville Children and Youth Care

Parkerville Children and Youth Care has been supporting children, young people and families in Western Australia for over 120 years. We walk alongside those who’ve experienced abuse, neglect, family violence or disrupted care, helping them feel safe, connected, and ready to shape their own future.

As part of this work, we established Parkerville CYC Therapeutic Education Services (PTES), to create learning environments where young people whose education has been disrupted by tough experiences can feel safe enough to learn, and supported enough to thrive.

Parkerville Grove School will be the first school launched by PTES, and will be a place where education and healing come together to give young people the chance to catch up, keep up, and believe in what comes next.
